David Johnson Jr., the owner of Johnson Heating and Cooling, LLC, was brought up working on Industrial HVAC and boiler systems. David's experience dates back to as early as 1992, when he was only twelve years old. David's father, David Johnson Sr. taught David that if he wanted a material possession, then he would have to buy it himself, however, David's father did provide David with a means to make money working in the HVAC industry. Because David's father raised him the way that he did, David developed not only a good work ethic, but also gained much experience in the Industrial HVAC industry at a very young age. In 1996 David received his first HVAC license (ACCA certification for buying, handling, selling, recovering, and transporting CFC based refrigerants), at the young age of 16 years old, and began to work by himself on jobs.

"One of my first memories working with my father was when I was about 13 years old. My father and his employees lowered me into an industrial cooling water holding tank with a wet-vac vacuum cleaner and had me clean out the tank. It was a gross job because I got scum on my face, hair, and all over my body, but I'm glad for the memory and I think about what I had to do whenever I hear someone complain about their job". When it comes to heat production or heat transfer solutions for industrial purposes, we are experts. We have worked on a broad spectrum of many industrial HVAC related tasks, including oil coolers for Mazak CNC machines, roof-top units that keep factories comfortable, evaporative cooling systems used for processes, process boilers, tube heaters, etc. If it has to do with producing or transferring heat, there is a good chance that we've been there and done that. We have even worked with chemical engineers to design and install a system that was used to produce air bag propellant, which is a substance about ten times more explosive than gun powder. We have done work on shock ovens, and we also have our own State of Michigan licensed professional mechanical engineer, with a Master's degree from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
